Full Time Temporary Grade 5 - 9 Teacher
Clearview Public Schools is accepting applications for a full time (1.0 FTE) temporary science and social studies teaching position at Erskine School beginning August 27, 2024 and ending the earlier of the following: June 30, 2025 or upon the return of the teacher on leave. Located about 10 km west of Stettler in Erskine, AB, Erskine School is an innovative Pre-K to Grade 9 school with approximately 140 students.
This teaching assignment will include Grades 5 through 9 Science and Social Studies, along with other courses based on the successful applicant’s skills and the school’s needs.
The successful applicant will be a highly organized, student focused teacher who works well in a collaborative team oriented environment and focuses on building professional and effective relationships with students. Experience using a wide variety of technology tools in a learning setting, effective classroom management, ability to communicate effectively with students and parents, and ability to establish high expectations for student learning are valuable skills.
