We are an ambitious company with a comprehensive portfolio encompassing services, solutions and products with over 180 employees who develop and drive the IIoT related products, solutions, and services in the wide-ranging product portfolio of the Endress+Hauser Group. Endress+Hauser Digital Solutions in Freiburg im Breisgau develops solutions in the area of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) for the Netilion digital ecosystem (netilion.endress.com).
We are seeking an Fullstack Developer with Frontend focus to drive the development of our Netilion platform for new business models.

Role + Responsibilities

• Development of web applications for new business models in the area of Industrial IoT and Industry 4.0 in a dynamic and growing team based on our Netilion platform
• Software development in the areas of web and mobile applications and the associated backend systems
• API integration, design and development, mainly REST APIs
• Evaluation of new technologies and integration of these into the existing platform
• Mainly development with Ruby on Rails, React, and Node.js

• Creation of automated software tests (TDD/BDD)Consulting of participants in an IoT ecosystem and creation of documentation

Qualification + Profile

• Degree (Uni/FH) in computer science or comparable qualification.
• Understanding of web technologies and Ruby programming languages available
• Experience with cloud-based platforms and related tools
• Experience in DevOps and CI/CD
• Experience in (I)IoT environment on business and / or technical level is an advantage
• Experience in UX/UI is an advantage
• Knowledge of NoSQL and relational databases desirable

• You are familiar with working in an agile environment e.g. ScrumYou have fluent German or English language skills
