Our aerospace client specialising in counterdrone technology is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer highly skilled in React, Node and Typescript development to join the team in Sydney, NSW. The position will report to the Software Team Lead.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

? BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
? Experience working with at least one modern TypeScript framework, React is ideal
? Experience using TypeScript is required
? Experience building REST APIs with NodeJS and/or Golang
? Experience developing microservice infrastructure is ideal

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

? Between 3 and 5 years’ experience in software developing
? Boundless passion for TypeScript
? Solid understanding of REST APIs and backend coding best practices
? Familiar with Docker, Postman, GitLab, AWS is favourable.
? You are a lifelong learner. You’re self-taught and continuously learning. You are
interested in keeping up with current best practices in your areas of expertise
? You are experienced working with modern infrastructure and tools
? You are comfortable running your software in Linux environments
? You’re familiar with designing and building distributed and scalable systems
