Within the Emerging Products team at Reach Plc, we are constantly striving to innovate and looking to disrupt the publishing industry. Five years ago, we created an innovation team to produce new products for the business. During this process, we built a product called InYourArea (IYA), which is now the UK’s leading local news and information platform and is connecting communities across the full breadth of the country.
The Fullstack Engineer will work within the ad tech space for IYA, where they will be adding to and improving our ad tech solutions and some key third party integrations.
The ad tech team consists of two Engineers and a Product Owner, with our wider IYA Product and Engineering team totalling around 20.

Job Description

Key areas of the platform you will be working on are:

• Our bespoke advertising solutions
• Our ad management and analytics solution that the sales team, ad operations and clients use every day
• Other commercial opportunities - such as generating content led promotions using Contentful

In all of these areas, you will contribute to the overall architecture and be involved in ongoing decisions on how we scope and develop future opportunities. You will also work on both our UI and API codebases.
Qualifications
You will be a Fullstack Engineer helping to shape the improvements and new features to our advertising and commercial services.

ROLE LOCATION

This role will be based remotely from home, and we are therefore open to candidates based across the UK. We are also able to accommodate a hybrid working pattern if that is your preference from one of our Hubs across the UK. Most of the team work remotely with most in-person days occurring in our London office.
