We are seeking a highly skilled Senior and SME DevOps Engineer to join our talented team and contribute to the success of our projects.
Job Description: As a Senior and SME DevOps/Kubernetes Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and managing continuous delivery systems and methodologies on Kubernetes (K8s), including AKS and Rancher. You will play a key role in automating, optimizing, and managing our CI/CD processes to enhance our operational efficiency and ensure the high quality of our software solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps or related technical roles.
  • Proficient with Kubernetes, AKS, Rancher, and CI/CD tools.
  • Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration.
  • Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef, or an equivalent.
  • Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and cloud services.
  • Strong experience with SQL and MySQL (NoSQL experience is a plus).
  • A working understanding of code and script (PHP, Python, Perl, and/or Ruby).

ADDITIONAL SKILLS (PREFERRED):

  • Experience in federal government Cloud or IT systems, familiar with CIS NIST standards.
  • Well-versed in healthcare IT systems, with a focus on compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Background in healthcare systems technology.

  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and Kubernetes ecosystems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in the DevOps domain.
