We are seeking an experienced Functions & Events Co-Ordinator who is passionate about hospitality, events and the customer journey. Highly organised, polished, and forward-thinking team leader, coupled with exceptional customer service skills within a team environment.
Reporting directly to the Cellar Door & Events Manger, this is a hands-on role which will suit motivated, proactive, dynamic and driven individual who is a team player, focused on exceeding customer expectations, so operational experience at a premium level is required to support the successful running of the events spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and forecast budgets with current offering year on year, whilst tracking progress.
- Engage and build leads with prospective clients, to meet KPI’s and business targets
- Prioritise daily/ weekly tasks to ensure effective work methods and outcomes with hands on delivery within a fast-paced environment
- High level of communication both internally and externally across departments and stakeholders
- Nurture the sales of events and offerings in line with the business and client needs, ensuring a return on investment whilst building long-term relationships.
- Uphold and manage a high standard of RSA and RP responsibilities in line with liquor licencing and company standards.
- Maintain and further develop an annual calendar of events that deliver both internal and external attendance of both brand and regional relevance.
- Co-Ordinate and execute all areas of functions & events in line with management, across a rolling week.
- Knowledge of regional landscape and offerings to ensure a thoughtful working relationship with clients and stakeholders.
- Uphold the values of our brand and business globally
Requirements:
- Min 3 years’ experience within hospitality with an event and or functions focus within a full-time role.
- Team leader fostering teamwork
- Be highly organised with the ability to multi-task and priorities to achieve superior results
- Exceptional written and spoken communication skills, personal presentation, and hosting ability.
- Microsoft suite and Shopify POS
- South Australian RSA & RP badge compliant and First aid
- Full drivers’ licence
