Description:
Our Hedge Fund client is seeking to hire a Fund Accounting Manager to join their growing team in Dublin City Centre.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in public or private accounting, particularly with hedge fund clients, or have a background in corporate accounting. You will be tasked with conducting accounting analysis, contributing to management reporting, and managing competing priorities with precision. Adaptability and a proactive approach are vital in our fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations for various entities’ expenses.
- Conduct monthly/quarterly/annual variance analyses on accounts.
- Perform reconciliations and analysis on traded products such as equities, fixed income, commodities, and derivatives.
- Provide support to fund administrators and auditors as needed.
- Collaborate with departments like Middle Office, Operations, and Investor Relations.
- Assist in management reporting and initiatives aimed at process improvement.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
- 3+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting, preferably in hedge funds/private equity/fund administration.
- Strong analytical and communication skills (both verbal and written).
