Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

As a Fund Analyst, you will maintain daily production of unit pricing services, including resolving issues, exceptions and or reconciliation breaks. You will aim to provide complete, accurate and timely net asset valuation and unit prices to accommodate client financial transactions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and ensure accurate net asset value calculation and daily unit prices in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Investigate and resolve all exceptions and reconciliation breaks
  • Provide timely delivery of unit pricing services including any reporting requirements
  • Engage and work collaboratively with stakeholders, providing timely and effective communication where required to custodians and/or fund managers
  • Accurately process unit pricing instructions
  • Resolve unit pricing and back-office related issues
  • Provide support and participate in ad-hoc project work and any operational process improvement initiatives

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL POSSESS:

  • Degree qualification in Business, Commerce, Finance or Accounting
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA/CA/CFA advantageous
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, working for superannuation administrators, investment managers or custodians
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently in a high pressure, fast paced environment
  • Experience working within an APRA/ASIC regulated environment
  • Excellent communication skills
