Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
For our fast growing organization, we are seeking for a highly skilled and experienced Fund Controller.
In this role, you will be overseeing the production of the daily/monthly/quarterly NAV and follow up on operations and compliance, investors due diligence and KYC. You will be responsible for the client relationship management, making sure to provide high level of delivery.
The Fund Controller will also play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations and reporting for our investment funds. This role requires strong technical expertise in accounting, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance within the investment management industry.
IDEAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CFA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in fund accounting, financial reporting, or related roles within the investment management industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS), fund structures, and regulatory requirements (SEC, AIFMD, etc.).
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., Paxus, Microsoft Dynamics, NAV) and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, prioritize tasks effectively, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, accounting, and control functions for the investment funds managed by Bolder Group.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, NAV calculations, and regulatory filings in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage the fund accounting team, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to ensure high-quality performance and professional development.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities on audit and compliance matters.
- Monitor fund performance, investment valuations, and cash flow projections to support investment decision-making and investor communications.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and procedures to safeguard fund assets and ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with investment teams, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to address complex financial and operational issues and drive strategic initiatives.
