An established Asia-focused alternative investment management firm based in Singapore is currently seeking a seasoned industry professional to join their Fund Accounting team.
Role: As a member of the Fund Accounting team, you will collaborate closely with the front and middle office teams. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure proper controls over the funds’ accounts and work with external auditors during the annual audit process. This role offers competitive compensation and an exceptional work culture to qualified candidates.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A degree in Accounting with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience at a hedge fund or asset manager
- Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- High proficiency in MS Excel (knowledge in VBA or Power Query is a plus)
- Strong understanding of financial product math and fundamentals, particularly in foreign exchange, fixed income, and derivatives

Responsibilities:
- Maintain proper controls over fund accounts
- Review the administrator’s calculation of funds’ net asset value, investor allocations, and investor statements
- Actively engage in the audit and tax processes at year-end
- Participate in valuation control for month-end NAV purposes
- Assist with inputs to regulatory filings/submissions
- Undertake other ad-hoc assignments to support the business needs of the firm
