WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Reporting to the Fund Investment Compliance Assistant Vice President, the Fund Investment Compliance Senior Associate ("FCSA") supports the investment compliance monitoring and conversion functions entailed by the services contracted by our clients and/or the Branch’s depositary duties.
The FSCA will be part of a high impact conversion project focusing on Business User Acceptance Testing (BUAT), Production Parallel and a major operational overhaul, standardizing and streamlining processes.
The FCSA assists in the process of reviewing investment guidelines in prospectuses or operating memorandum and as per UCITS or AIF directives/regulations, identifying changes to the current set up, maintaining the funds’ guidelines documentation, and preparing and releasing the related client reports.
The FCSA also assists in the set-up of new businesses consisting in the up of scheduled new deals and ensuring timely completion of the related tasks with due regard to the department’s internal procedures.
The FCSA also helps furthering the legal knowledge base of the team by keeping up with regulatory changes and identifying the needed updates to the regulatory restrictions or new ones to be implemented. A key responsibility of the FCSA is to ensure that a clear trail is documented at all stages of the update process.
Ancillary tasks of the FCSA is to support the operational teams during short staffing situations. These tasks include the review of the funds in our automated system Charles River Investment Management Solution and the analysis of exceptions for subsequent client reporting if applicable. All of the above tasks are carried out with the outmost objective of delivering quality service to our clients and ensuring that all deadlines are met.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

EDUCATION & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Finance, Business Informatics or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience working in fund investment compliance
  • Experience in rule coding based on the automated Fund Compliance tool Charles River Investment Management Solution© (CRIMS)
  • Be a champion in UCITS IV, SIF, RAIF, MMF, Luxembourg Fund Industry and regulations, directives etc. pertaining to investment compliance monitoring.
  • Language: English

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

As Fund Investment Compliance Analyst will be responsible for, amongst others:

  • Conversion Project Activities- perform the whole day-to-day BUAT and Prod Parallel activities to ensure client migration with high accuracy (review of analysts work, take prompt action to correct problems, review breaches, prepares and reviews management reports etc.).
  • Operational Excellence - Collaborate, advise and assist on initiatives to identify and implement process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Client Relationships - liaise with clients, attend calls and due diligences, respond promptly to client problems and requests while ensuring accuracy, timeliness and quality of client reports.
