Description:
Completes complex tasks, manages priorities, and analyzes inputs to meet operational objectives. Responsible for tasks in support of liquidity management, corporate actions or trade administration teams. Produces gold-copy data per function assigned with a focus on operational efficiency and output quality.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate degree in a related field is preferred, any relevant post-graduate qualifications would be highly regarded.
- Experience in fund & investment operations is preferred, with an understanding of IBOR being highly regarded.
- Demonstrated analytical, conceptual, problem solving, continuous improvement and attention to detail skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to develop relationships across the various stakeholders including senior business executives
- Ability to be flexible in a dynamic environment, be a self-starter with ability to learn quickly organize and prioritize work and meet the clients expectations.
- Excellent judgment and proven ability to analyse issues quickly and independently to take appropriate action under tight time constraints.
Responsibilities:
- Provides daily oversight of operations through exception management controls and analyzing cash flow, transaction, and portfolio holdings data to ensure accurate gold copy data is calculated and distributed to downstream clients timely.
- Initiates and supports/leads business critical projects by completing comprehensive analysis, recommending appropriate solutions, and participating in the implementation process.
- Assists in the creation of workflow procedures and maintains comprehensive documentation of all current policies and procedures and is continually identifying ways to improve the global controls environment.
- Identifies, measures, manages, and monitors operational risks and proactively seeks to mitigate those risks by developing improved processes, policies, controls and relationships with internal partners.
- Establishes and maintains effective communication with all internal and external partners and collaborates to resolve issues regarding process and reconciliation breakpoints.
- Stays knowledgeable on domestic and international portfolio policies and regulations for determining how they impact team operations.
- Participates in Control and Risk Management, Contingency and Information Security efforts to mitigate business risks.
