Responsibilities:
ROLE PURPOSE:
The Fund Services Senior Associate will play a key role in managing and developing the Impax Labelled Funds (the “Funds”). The Funds include an Irish UCITS Umbrella, a UK Investment Trust, US Mutual Funds and US Limited Partnership Funds. The role whilst primarily focused on the European Funds in the UK and Ireland, requires global collaboration.
The Impax Fund Services team (“FS”) is responsible for the fund structures, fund controls, distribution operations, fund documentation, oversight of fund service providers and fund projects/development.
ROLE DIMENSIONS
The role sits within the FS team, which has respresentatives in London, Dublin and New Hampshire (US). FS is a sub-team within the global Portfolio Services department, headed by Impax’s Global Chief Operating Officer.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- FS project management lead for creating, launching or closing Funds and share classes
- Responsibility for implementing Fund changes
- Work closely with the Impax Product team on product design and evaluation of the Funds
- Responsibility for creation, oversight and dissemination of Fund documentation, including Prospectus, supplements, PRIIPS KIDs, UCITS KIIDs, Application and Dealing forms
- Chair monthly Irish UCITS meetings, taking/distributing minutes and assigning/following up on actions
- Lead or assist with Fund shareholder communications
- Assist with ensuring the Funds are registered in all required jurisdictions and work with internal stakeholders and outsourced service provider to ensure they are compliance
- Assist the Impax Client group with queries, RFPs, investors audits and due diligence requests and the Fund sections of the Impax website
- Lead or assist FS with production and coordination of Fund audits and financial statements
- Lead or assist with the onboarding and subsequent management of distributors, including platforms
- Assist with the appointment/oversight of Fund service providers
- Assist the FS team as required with regards to fund administration and operations, including expense management, budgets and invoice processing
- Assist with the collation, management and updating of Fund data, ensuring it is correct and made available internally and externally via data vendors (Morningstar, Bloomberg etc.) and distribution platforms
- Provide support for the US Funds and for the FS team globally
- Ensure procedures are kept for FS processes
- Look for effeciences and reduce risk with regards to the Funds and FS processes
- Keep up with regulatory changes which may impact the Funds and FS
- Help develop or adapt FS processes to support fixed income Funds
- Work closely with/assist Impax’s Project Management, Compliance, Risk and Legal teams
