Description:
This role is the backbone of raising the vital funds we need at the organisation. You will need to be a champion for the British Red Cross for our external partners, potential volunteers, and the public. You will have the opportunity to gain skills in banking and building relationships locally and nationally. - Driving is preferable but not essential. - You will need to have use of your own phone. - This is a home and community based role. Tasks: Contacting venues to organise collections, with the support of your manager
Managing the buckets and other materials for collections
On the day coordinating our amazing bucket shakers!
Talking to public about our work
Counting cash and banking the money you raise at the collection

Skills: Enthusiasm!
An interest in meeting people from a wide variety of backgrounds
Experience with organising groups of people- or someone eager to gain these skills
Happy to travel in their local area to collection sites
Ability to follow guidance for banking
Interested in organising groups of people
Comfortable following money handling procedures
