Description:
Position: Fundraising Knowledge & Community Development Advisor
Location: Any MSF Office, in a time zone within 2-3 hours of CET
Contract: 80-100%, permanent contract
Starting date: May 2024
- By default, the successful candidate will be offered a contract in the MSF office of their country of residence at the time of application.
LEAD THE FUNDRAISING DIGITAL ECOSYSTEM FOR KNOWLEDGE SHARING AND COLLABORATION
- Lead the strategic development and management of the digital ecosystem, overseeing the creation and optimization of digital platforms and tools to facilitate seamless knowledge exchange, resource sharing, and collaborative work among cross-functional teams.
- Spearhead the user-oriented enhancement of the fundraising portal within the MSF international intranet in SharePoint, leveraging advanced functionalities as well as updating the content regularly to meet the evolving needs of the community.
- Take a leadership role in implementing transformative projects aimed at upgrading the capacity-building ecosystem, including the introduction of advanced document management solutions and knowledge dissemination processes.
- Stay abreast of the release of new features and new tools to keep the FR digital ecosystem aligned with industry standards.
- Integrate new ideas and approaches by cultivating relationships with key stakeholders in the knowledge management and community building industry: internal stakeholders, consultants, peers in other NGOs, etc.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor or University Degree in Social Sciences, or related field/ equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive work experience, including positions in fundraising or marketing.
- Computer expertise and experience in working with SharePoint and other Microsoft Office Applications and current and future collaboration tools, as well as the proven ability to train others in this area is a must.
- Proven experience in successful online and offline events management is a must.
- Work experience in knowledge management (information management, learning, community management, communication) is highly valued. Certification in knowledge management or library and information sciences would be an asset.
- Demonstrated project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and produce quality results.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in network and capacity to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Proven experience in strategizing and fostering supportive environments to drive business/fundraising success.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- MSF experience will be an asset.
