Furniture Removalist and Driver

We are looking for individuals to join our team as Furniture Removal Drivers!

This is a full-time role with a minimum of 30 hours of work per week.

Job Duties:

• Delivering items to customer sites
• Collecting items from vendors
• Safely operate company vehicle to transport furniture and other items to designated locations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving and loading/unloading cargo.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the proper functioning of the vehicle.
• Assist with loading and unloading of items as needed, ensuring items are handled with care.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries made.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Provide exceptional customer service by delivering items in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license upto Class 2 (or able to get within 3 months) with a clean driving record.
• Excellent driving skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading cargo.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
