We are now looking for a Future Talent in IT, CDO Office Trainee to join our team.
Your role and goals
As a trainee in the CDO office team, you will learn fundamentals of digitalization by developing new service concepts, processes and smarter ways of doing work that are future proven. In this role you will learn about how to plan, develop, implement, and maintain systems that are fundamentally transforming the ways of working in Higher Education and Research sectors. Additionally by working together with the development managers, process experts and specialists, you will learn hands on how to develop organization capabilities with the digitalization tools and frameworks.

In this new role:

  • You will become familiar with the development of processes by using international standards such as PRINCE2, ITIL, SAFe, COBIT and BTS
  • You will become familiar with the regulations influencing AI development, Cyber Security and Accessibility such as EU AI Act, NIS2 and WCAG 2.2
  • You will get hands on experience in analyzing data with analytics and AI tools.
  • You will get hands on experience in developing new work concepts and recommendations by using new technologies such as Chat GPT
  • You will learn about future trends by working in close cooperation with the leading industry experts

During this traineeship you will create new capabilities and your work will have a true impact on Aalto students, researchers and teachers. You will be able to shape your work based on your interest areas.

The work is full time during summer and part time during the academic year, when there is teaching (arrangement is flexible based on studies). There is potential for an extension beyond this period. Our aim is that you will work with us for a longer period flexibly in a way that supports your studies and allows you to develop your competence in your chosen IT area.
As part of Future Talent in IT program we offer you a mentor, onboarding and training sessions and networking with other trainees. In 2024 we are recruiting six trainees for this program in the fields of CDO Office, Integrations, Generative AI, Machine Learning & Analytics and Identity and Access Management.
