LSEG offers FX market participants a comprehensive end-to-end solution covering trade execution, trade workflow, clearing, market data, news, and analytical content.
At the heart of LSEG’s FX capabilities are two electronic FX trading platforms: FXall and Matching. FXall is widely acknowledged as the industry’s leading customer-to-bank multibank platform for foreign exchange, and Forwards Matching is the industry’s leading central limit order book for the trading of FX swaps. LSEG’s customers trade more than $400bio/day of FX on these two trading platforms. These two platforms are managed from within LSEG’s Capital Markets division.
LSEG has identified growth potential in FX and has significantly increased investment in its FX capabilities. As part of this expansion, LSEG is looking to hire a Regulated Entities Business Manager within Capital Markets.
The FX Regulated Entities Business Manager will report directly to the Head of FX Regulated Entities. The selected individual will need to work across the FX business within Capital Markets as well as coordinate with colleagues in the FX businesses within the D&A and Post Trade divisions.
Responsibilities
The FX Regulated Entities Business Manager will assist the Head of Regulated Entities and the Head of FX Risk & Regulation discharge their responsibilities. This will include:

Licensing Requirements

  • Maintaining licensing requirements for regulated FX entities globally
  • Ensuring first-line controls to manage jurisdictional requirements are developed and maintained.
  • Maintaining and updating sales guidelines and ensuring subsequent implementation and development of controls.
  • Working with Compliance and Legal departments to determine requirements for new jurisdictions and managing subsequent applications for licensing and associated documentation.
  • Helping to prepare submissions to the New Products and Markets Committee for new jurisdictional initiatives.
  • Assisting with the running of the FX Risk and Regulation Working Group.
  • Assist with the management of special, strategic regulatory change projects/programmes, identifying cross divisional regulatory change impacts, managing communication/visibility to key business stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Relationship management with Compliance departments on all identified change related programmes to ensure all regulatory requirements are met. Managing correspondence with legal entity boards, and INEDs in particular
  • Quality control of all content going into Board packs and FX Enterprise Forum. Close coordination with Co Sec in this regard.
  • Ensuring Minutes and Actions are appropriately captured, and actions assigned.
  • Manage attendance at Board meetings to ensure efficient use of everyone’s time

Regulatory Documentation

  • In partnership with Compliance ensure appropriate 1st line ownership of all written correspondence being shared with primary and secondary regulators.
  • Ownership of regulatory documentation including but not limited to programmes of operations, platform Rulebooks, Prudential documents, ICAAPs, Recovery and Winddown plans, Article 48 Assessments.

Regulatory Onboarding

  • Provide managerial support to the onboarding analysts, work with them to achieve their goals, and address performance issues when they arise.
  • Work with stakeholders from Sales/Relationship Management, Compliance, Legal, Product, and Regulation, to enhance processes, adhere to regulatory changes, and streamline the onboarding processes where suitable.
  • Establish relationships with business leads, to provide support on various initiatives, and to influence decisions. Work in partnership to achieve business goals.
  • Provide participant data to various compliance teams for primary and secondary regulatory reporting.
  • Document team procedures for new and existing processes and contribute to policies when required.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good knowledge of the FX markets preferable
  • Previous experience of preparing authorisation applications strongly desirable
  • Previous experience of implementing a robust control environment for jurisdictional administration in a financial services environment
