FX-Trade & Money Market Support – Client Services Representative, Officer
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a Client Services Representative in our London office to join the team. You will support the trading of our international client base using a wide range of products which form part of the Global Link Trading Suite, such as Currenex, FX Connect, TradeNexus and Fund Connect. You will be joining State Street Global Markets. Our new division combines advanced technology, best execution and servicing expertise with proprietary market research and insights to support clients in decentralized and Regulated financial markets.

You will be joining State Street Global Markets digital team, our new division that combines advanced trading technology, best execution and servicing expertise with proprietary market research and insights to support clients in decentralized financial markets. Together with other teams across our company, you will be working on the evolution of our award-winning GlobalLink technology platform into a multi-asset solution that will include crypto, central bank digital currency, blockchain and tokenization.

What you will be responsible for:

  • The position is client facing with a strong emphasis on client service and problem resolution.
  • Providing first and second level application support to include monitoring of system events and the notification of potential problems across all product offerings.
  • The team will also interact with second and third level teams such as Development, Product, Sales, Technical Operations and Integration.
  • Working with a sense of urgency in the handling of all incoming queries via email and telephone.
  • Investigating trade breaks and provide resolution on behalf of clients or their custodians when required.
  • Support Application Programming Interface (API) connections.
  • Customer account and user set up administration.
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports for our customers.
  • Actioning internal change requests in relation to production systems.
  • Actioning change requests on behalf of clients and banks.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree level preferable though not essential
  • A Level minimum or equivalent. Computer Science or business studies or similar subject would be preferable but not essential.
  • Basic understanding of Financial Markets and Foreign Exchange (preferable).
  • Ideally you will have experience with FX trading systems and have some knowledge of operating systems such as Windows, Linux or Unix.
  • Scripting experience would be beneficial.
