Gameday Sales Associate

JOB SUMMARY

Auburn University is excited to begin the search for a Gameday Sales Associate! This position will be scheduled to work 6-8 hour shifts on Saturdays of home football games. This position is available for the 2024 Fall football season to assist the Front-End and Apparel departments as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently enrolled student at Auburn University.

Expectations:

• Able to work every home football game day.
• Able to stand for 4-8 hours at a time.
• Complete Security Awareness Training (annually).
• Ability to work individually as well as cooperatively with others.
• Great interpersonal skills.
• Multitasking skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Retail experience.
• Cash register experience.

• Greet customers and assist them with finding the products and services they desire.
• Engage, listen, & ask questions to understand the customer’s wants/needs.
• Have an enthusiastic attitude toward helping others.
• Walk the sales floor regularly to monitor for loss prevention and ensure the sales floor and merchandise are clean and in order.
• Ensure merchandise is tagged correctly, scans at the right price, is free of damages, and has been brought to web orders to be put on the website.
• Stock merchandise on the sales floor as needed.
• Efficiently and accurately process customer transactions on the cash register.
