Job Description: Join our team at The Plant Shack as a Seasonal Garden Center Employee and be a part of creating memorable experiences for our customers during our busiest seasons. We’re looking for friendly and dedicated individuals who share our passion for plants and customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of plants, gardening practices, and outdoor living products is required .
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with customers.
- Strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers in a friendly and helpful manner, providing expert advice on plant selection, care, and gardening techniques.
- Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the garden center, including watering plants, arranging displays, and restocking inventory.
- Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently, processing transactions and handling payments.
- Receive, unload, and organize plant deliveries, ensuring inventory is properly stocked and displayed.
- Monitor plant health and report any issues to management to maintain product quality.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and provide support during busy periods.
