Curtis Power Solutions, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for an Energy Solutions Gas Systems Technician, at our location in Baltimore, Maryland. This individual will be organized with the ability to multi-task and possess good customer and communication skills. Seeking a Gas Systems Technician with engine and controls implementation experience of successful continuous gas, RNG and or Bio-Gas CHP systems related to waste heat or power boiler systems for digester processes or similar. This candidate will take on an important project and continuous maintenance role to support commissioning and long term installations of sustainable gas systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance in the resolutions of design problems, including field investigation or inspections.
  • Monitoring long term service agreements to related CHP supplied equipment.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for key service accounts and activities, providing recommendations to management for departmental improvements.
  • Coordinate with the project team to deliver a project within timeline and budget targets.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly summary reports for energy solutions service activity, and senior management for assigned sites.
  • Remote and field troubleshooting.
  • Proactive maintenance planning for scheduled intervals of systems and equipment
  • This position requires occasional driving

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven energy efficiency and/or renewable technology engine and controls work experience.
  • Minimum of ten years of field work related to engine system and sub-systems.
  • Knowledge chiller and boiler plants, motors, VSDS, HVAC retrofit, controls and distributed generation.
  • Programming knowledge of mtu solutions controls and integration.
  • Emergency response for critical equipment, available as-needed for initial response and coordination of resources for resolution.
