Description:

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Our Public sector client requires the help of a Senior Computer Application Support Specialist to help complete tasks related to the development and update of application technical documentation, such as SOPs for both the project team and Service Management Centers across the department as directed by the Technical Authority.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with the project team and subject matter experts
  • Review and assess the current system architecture to develop/update technical requirements
  • Create/perform unit testing of solution modules during the development phase
  • Provide detailed installation/configuration/test plan documentation
  • Trouble shoot technical issues in conjunction with DND/CAF internal support teams
  • Respond to bug reports and fix issues based on the prioritization model
  • Develop necessary integrations between new and/or existing systems
  • Advise and assist with software build issues
  • Provide expert technical advice and guidance to IM/IT technical resources
  • Assist project team members with the production upgrade of the on premises GCDOCS Enterprise Connect to the latest version
