Description:

As a GCP Pre-Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales process. You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their business requirements, architect customized solutions, and demonstrate the value of GCP services to drive successful outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions leveraging GCP services.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical workshops to showcase the capabilities and benefits of GCP.
  • Work closely with clients to gather technical requirements and design scalable and secure architectures on the Google Cloud Platform.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, technical documentation, and cost estimates to support the sales process.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing technical guidance and best practices to clients and internal teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in GCP services and technologies to effectively position them to clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and support, to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer, with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
  • In-depth knowledge of GCP services, including Compute Engine, App Engine, BigQuery, Dataflow, and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud architectural patterns, design principles, and best practices.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills to effectively deliver technical demonstrations and presentations.
  • Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze client needs and recommend appropriate GCP services.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with sales, engineering, and support teams.
  • GCP certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer) are a plus.
