Job Introduction
As a General Assistant at Sodexo, you will be essential to the day-to-day operations of the magnificent Wellington College in the Berkshire town of Crowthorne. The College, which occupies 400 acres of stunning countryside, combines breath-taking old buildings with cutting-edge modern facilities to give its students the greatest learning environment imaginable. The ideal applicant for this position should be well-presented, sociable, and outgoing, with a genuine “can do” attitude. Owing to the site’s enormity, a driving licence is mandatory, but your role will go beyond simple driving.

What you’ll do:

  • You will be responsible for the timely delivery and collection of food supplies and hardware to various locations within the college grounds
  • To assist in the preparation of hot and cold beverages for delivery to various locations across site.
  • To maintain the company van both internally and externally, including completion of van checklists in line with Health and Safety requirements.
  • To understand and comply with statutory health, hygiene and safety, quality standards. This includes COSHH and HACCP ensuring all tasks are carried out in accordance with policy and the law.
