Our client is hiring a Construction Project Manager in Victoria, BC. We are a leading full-service construction company that provides innovative Construction Management, General Contracting, Design Build, Pre-Construction, Tenant Improvements and Tilt Up Construction services for commercial, multi-residential, industrial, infrastructure, and institutional developments across Vancouver Island and the lower mainland.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

Work Collaboratively with Site Superintendent

• work with site superintendent in all aspects of project planning
• ensuring project profitability, company quality standards and adherence to project schedule
• establishing project safety & environment programs
• developing and ensuring compliance with quality control plan
• developing the construction plan
• developing and monitoring the project schedule
• shop drawing reviews
• ensuring as-built drawings are maintained
• monitoring and assessing the performance of the project budget, estimate vs. actual reviews, and reviewing on a monthly basis

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide proactive management, and oversight of our construction projects, including
• Mentoring, and supervising Project Coordinators and promotion of internal training and professional development
• Friendly and approachable with all site personnel, assisting in goal to knock down barriers between ‘office’ and ‘site’
• Assist in securing new work by participating in estimates, RFQ/RFP proposals, and marketing where applicable
• Maintaining excellent relationships with client, architect, consultants, subcontractors, public

  Salary: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
