General Farm Labourer

Braestone Farm is currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal Candidate will have a passion for agriculture and a willingness to perform a variety of tasks to help maintain the farm. This position is especially suited for someone who can work early mornings through the summer and on warm days.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience related to gardening is preferred.
• Physical Stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to operate basic farm machinery and tools.

The Labourer’s responsibilities include, but not limited to,

• Watering the crops thoroughly on a weekly basis to ensure proper growth.
• Operate and maintain farm equipment and tools, including a weed whacker.
• Ensure all pathways and boundaries are clear of overgrown weeds.
• Manually removing weeds from vegetable and flower gardens.
• Ensuring gardens are well maintained and free from invasive plants.
