Description:

WAREHOUSE GENERAL MANAGER-FULL TIME

We are searching for a site leader in one of its high-volume sites located in the Dallas metropolitan area. This site is critical in the success of the company’s future and has a high percent of the company’s volume and revenue. The Company has grown 300%+ over the past three years and expects to continue at or above this pace through both organic and acquisitive growth. This site will be outfitted with the latest equipment and technology and will offer employee’s a great place to work.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience including building and retaining teams, managing significant operations, and driving continuous improvement
  • 3+ years of experience managing a P&L with proven ability to analyze KPI’s and drive performance improvement
  • Ability to travel approximately 10%; however, extensive travel will be required within the first 60 days as part of your comprehensive training program
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize information to drive decision making and see the big picture while effectively managing details
  • High degree of professional credibility, including responsiveness, business focus, integrity, acumen, and ability to prioritize across competing demands
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate challenges and opportunities concisely and clearly
  • Hands on leader interested and experienced in developing team members

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team responsible for processing and fulfilling B2B and B2C customer orders including the remanufacturing of automotive parts
  • Ensure and manage the facility to have the proper inventory, processes, controls, and staffing required to meet the operational plan (P&L)
  • Drive performance through identified KPI’s, motivating and developing team to meet and exceed business targets
  • Develop manufacturing operations system improvements utilizing Lean tools driving a culture of continuous improvement, waste removal, and variation reduction
  • Operate an OSHA and Company compliant facility that provides team members with a clean, safe, and hazard-free warehouse environment
  • Build strategic relationships with suppliers within the local market to acquire inventory
  • Ensure accuracy of inventory records and provide guidance and leadership to site personnel concerning best in class inventory management practices
