We want to meet you!Your role, in a nutshell:

  • Lead TC Transcontinental’s engine for the next stage of growth, the data & analytics team.
  • Constantly balance the urgent (the current distribution network dynamics) with the important (the evolution of our services into retail marketing), with a focus on client impact and a high quality of deliverables across the board
  • Make fact and analytics-based recommendations on topics that are critical to the business (TC Transcontinental overall)
  • Position the data and analytics team at the center of consequential decisions for TC Transcontinental by bringing together different points of view and developing decision frameworks to clarify and expedite the process.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, based on a deep understanding of needs and best ways to meet them.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with other teams and groups in TC Transcontinental, mapping out white spaces where data and analytics can unlock opportunities for our clients.
  • Develop and grow the team by bringing a people development lens to all activities.
  • Develop a culture of performance tracking and monitoring based on data analytics by fueling a constant dialogue with stakeholders on best practices and innovation in this space.
  • Work closely with TC Transcontinental’s digital products team to provide analytics-based performance tracking.
  • Lead and track achievement rate of the operating results (e.g., profitability, cost control, etc.).

When your expertise drives us

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, or Digital/Technology or any relevant combination of education and professional experience. MBA represents a strong plus.
  • Bilingual communication skills in English and French (Supporting a team across Canada).
  • Ability to work effectively in hybrid mode, with remote teams located in Quebec and Ontario.
  • Experience in the retail industry, ideally with knowledge of print and digital marketing strategy as a strong asset.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the financial, accounting, and operational functions within the organization to make sound business decisions.
  • Experience in building process efficiencies in technology enabled or custom manufacturing environments.
