JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Summary
The JVCo General Manager role (within JVCo) is a critical role ensuring the effective and smooth implementation of, and adherence to, all of the business and operating agreements between Intel Corporation and Grange NewCo LLC. This role will lead all Operations related activities and operationalize all JVCo activities based on contractual arrangements relating to the manufacture and sale of wafers. The General Manager is qualified to understand and ensure compliance with the contractual terms within JVCo. This role ensures that the JV requirements are achieved and solves any/all issues with key stakeholders and the Board.
This is a fixed term contract role.
Role/Responsibilities
Leads and manages a team of Professionals and provides team with clarity on strategic directions and priorities.
Owns and leads the core finance processes (Budget, Forecast, Financial Statements, Closing, Quarterly Business Update, etc.) - for JVCo - ensuring seamless and flawless process management with understanding of the end-to-end flow.
Provides leadership and supports to the JVCo processes including the analysis and review of financial information and its impacts.
Leads detailed Finance and Operations strategy, working, cross-functionally, with JVCo partners, to maximize business impact. Leads and manages entire business cycles and presents updates to JVCo Leaders and C-level executives.
Builds and maintains executive relationships (with Intel and with JV partner) to help influence short and long-term technology and business decisions.
Oversees the production of accurate and timely budget and expense management reports that analyzes and interprets financial and operational information for planning and control purposes.
Oversees productivity analysis for optimal resource allocation to drive strategy; develops growth and development plans to maximize learning and development opportunities, to improve team members’ performance and address skill gaps.
Has the responsibility for ownership of managing the reports/report outs/updates/etc required to ensure the key operational elements, of the Agreement, are meeting the required goals
Acts as an accelerator of transformation and a trusted advisor, to the Finance and Operations team, by participating and influencing business decisions based on knowledge, of JVCo strategy and business model.
Guides the Operations team to ensure proper accounting and financial infrastructure and statutory registration in compliance with local accounting, tax regulations, and global processes.
Reviews and discusses any audit findings, with appropriate representatives, to illustrate how accounting, tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements guide business operations and JVCo policies.
Responsible for enabling Operations Team to execute through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, applying differentiated performance management, and driving team results.
Works with the Board to ensure timely reporting and clear communication and documentation with the Board. Owns Board and all external reporting (audit).
Drives results by inspiring people, role modeling Intel values, developing the capabilities of others, and ensuring a productive work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills Required Seasoned Finance and Operations knowledge, with senior level experience, and Know-How Detailed understanding of Finance and Operational processes Ability to lead and execute on all aspects of JVCo contractual obligations Ability to become a trusted partner to a wide group of local and international stakeholders Ability to engage constructively with JVCo Board and address issues/challenges as presented Ability to design JVCo roles (4 to 5); hire to ensure all aspects of JVCo activities are achieved Be a leader, coach and mentor to employees, as hired, within JVCo
