Description:

We are in search of a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead a family run dealership based in Co. Tipperary. The role is pivotal in overseeing all dealership operations, developing strategies for sales and aftersales success, enhancing customer satisfaction, and maximising profitability. The General Manager will also collaborate with the brand partners to seize full market potential, supported by the Group management and Finance team, and reporting directly to the Group Directors.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Significant leadership experience within the automotive industry, ideally in a General Manager or senior departmental role.
  • Comprehensive understanding of dealership operations across Finance, Sales, Aftersales and Administration.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Skilled in developing and implementing successful sales and marketing strategies.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management.
  • A results-oriented approach with a focus on target achievement and profitability enhancement.
  • Deep knowledge of the Irish automotive market and regulatory landscape.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and provide direction to the Sales and Aftersales teams.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue and profit targets.
  • Analyse sales performance KPIs and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of customer service.
  • Manage stock and pricing strategies efficiently.
  • Oversee dealership finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
  • Recruit, train, and motivate staff to ensure maximum productivity and potential.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture, ensuring high employee engagement and morale.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
