QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Possess a degree in Leadership & Management, Hospitality Management or similar field;
  • Proven operations leadership experience in hospitality or liquor industries with an intimate knowledge of the supply chain;
  • Advanced project management skills;
  • Showcase proven success in steering diverse companies, demonstrating expertise in commercial, operational, and financial management;
  • Lead with a collaborative, hands-on approach;
  • Experience managing contracts from a supplier, customer and wholesale perspective.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the General Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in steering the company’s growth and shaping its legacy. Reporting directly to the shareholder board, you will transition between strategic planning and overseeing business operations, with a strong focus on supply chain and logistics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Craft and implement sustainable growth strategies, focusing on product development, sales (on-premise & off-premise), and optimizing distribution;
  • Recruit, train and support the growth of team members throughout the organization, keeping succession planning and team cohesion front of mind;
  • Integrate and enhance policies and procedures, ensuring compliance is maintained;
  • Drive margin improvement initiatives and cost optimization strategies to enhance overall profitability;
  • Provide vision and leadership across all business areas, including sales, HR, Marketing and Production;
  • Ensure seamless general operations, overseeing budgets, and maintaining compliance with laws and regulations;
  • Nurture a safe working environment, championing workplace health and safety policies.
