We are looking to appoint a General Manager to provide effective leadership and management to set up and lead a performance driven and customer-oriented organization with a strong safety culture and CSR ambition to be CO2 neutral in 2030. You will lead the business strategy, business planning and execution fostering intercompany collaboration and teamwork towards other Royal IHC businesses. You will be a representative for Allard-Europe to governments, branch organization etc. and you will build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders.
You will look to embed a positive continuous improvement culture to continue to develop world class products, with a particularly emphasis on professionalizing the organization to make it fit for future. Working closely with your Management Team, you will be passionate and committed to enabling your people to reach their full potential and optimize business results.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Minimum 5 years of P&L responsibility in a Belgium organization.
  • Experience as statutory director is a pre.
  • A technical background, where experience in foundry industry is beneficial.
  • Leadership experience in a production environment with skills to set priorities, delegate, motivate, and develop people.
  • Proven track record in improving a safety performance.
  • Good communication skills in both Flemish/Dutch and English.
  • Preferably living close to Turnhout.
