Description:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- The minimum education requirement for the job is a Grade 12 certificate with 5 to 8 years Management/ Operations experience in the Security Industry
- Qualification in business management/operations management or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in a managerial role
- Strong decision-making capabilities
- Above-average communication, collaboration, and delegation skills
- Proven ability to plan, develop and maintain financial plans
- Ability to motivate and lead people, and how colleagues accountable
- Strong working knowledge of operational procedures
- Have a valid driver’s license with own reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement and manage growth strategy with the Sales and Marketing Director in achieving Branch sales targets.
- Collaborate with the Regional Director in setting and driving Business Unit vision and operational strategy.
- Develop, execute and report on tactics that can achieve the company’s strategic and business goals.
- Convert strategy into actionable targets for performance and development.
- Liaise with all your Operations Managers and Site Managers/Supervisors daily to ensure operational procedures, as set out in the SOP’s, are adhered to.
- Maintain timelines to ensures tasks are accomplished on time.
- Ensure that your business area have the necessary infrastructure to manage the current client base and to be able to grow if necessary. You must, however, ensure that your infrastructure remains cost effective and within the budget constraints.
- Effective cost controls mechanisms being maintained and/or implemented to minimize expenses.
- Update and keep current SOPs Manuals updated at all times.
- Ensure that sites are managed in accordance with the SOPs, do regular ad hoc checks on sites and enforce the correct standards.
- Assist Operations Managers and/or Site Management with any incidents that occur and follow-up on instructions on how to prevent it from happening again.
- Be responsible for the Business area Budgets and the control thereof. This includes developing, implementing, and maintaining budgetary and resource allocation plans.
- Ensure that all invoicing is correct and that invoices are delivered to clients on time.
- Ensure that debtors days are maintained and reduced where possible.
- Ensure that pay queries are reduced to the minimum and that they are handled promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure that your business area operate at maximum profitability without compromising on expected service delivery.
- Develop the team through training and mentorship.
- Coordinate the efforts of the different operational areas to ensure minimal duplication of efforts and maximum efficiency.
- Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the business area.
- Monitor weekly and monthly branch reports and report to the Regional Director.
- Ensure that rostering and posting is managed daily and in the most cost-effective manner.
- Assist in these departments as and when required with emphasis on vehicles, firearms, radios and uniforms.
- Visit at least your top 20 clients monthly or as per agreement made with your Operations Director and address any operational shortcomings with relevant Operations Management structure.
- Institute innovative ideas to enhance quality and add value to services rendered to clients.
- Liaise with clients on standard and quality of services rendered.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are complied with by colleagues, management, contractors and or any other relevant stakeholders.
- Manage all risks which could negatively affect the service delivery to clients. Report all risks relating to service delivery to Regional Director.
- Oversee and monitor all corrective actions, as results of audits, in your business area.
