Salary: Farm Worker / General Operative / Canteen Assistant with a Salary Scale of €33,592 to €37,742

QUALIFICATIONS

At the time of applying, candidates must have

• Candidates must have a relevant Level 5 qualification in a related discipline such as; facility management, hospitality, agriculture/horticulture/forestry, animal care, business studies, computers, maintenance

OR

• passed an examination at the appropriate level within the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) which can be assessed as being comparable to Leaving Certificate standard or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience
• A Level 6 craft apprenticeship or similar craft related vocational qualification
• Level 6 Specific Purpose in Farming “Green Cert” or higher
• Proficiency in computer skills.

SKILLS

• Skill required to repair and maintain equipment and facilities
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Word & Excel
• Good organisational skills & time management.
• Good telephone skills.
• Good administrative, numeracy and attention to detail.
• Customer Awareness.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Stock control management

KNOWLEDGE

• An understanding of control systems & panels
• An understanding of Teagasc, its functions and its clients
• BMS Systems
• Scheduling software
