Description:
Am opportunity has risen for a General Operative to join the Portakabin Ireland Team in Donabate. The successful candidate will assist in the day-to-day duties of the Operations Department with the refurbishment, fitting out and installation of hire and sales units and small projects to ensure hire fleet and sales units are maintained, repaired and cleaned.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are looking for someone who has:
- Educated to Junior Cert standard or equivalent
- Practical operational experience within a construction environment
- Practical operational experience in painting, slinger/signaller operation and carpentry
- Forklift Licence (Counterbalance and Reach) (Desirable)
- Recognised slinger/signaller training (Desirable)
- Full Driving License (Desirable)

Responsibilities:
ROLE DETAILS
- Salary: €40,795 per annum
- Role based: Donabate, K36 K75
- Contract type: Permanent
- Annual leave: 25 days plus bank holidays
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Loading and off-loading, moving cabins.
- Painting and decorating hire fleet.
- Maintain, repair and clean hire fleet.
- Maintain cleanliness of the yard
- Maintaining high health and safety standards, cleaning standards and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with all legislation, codes of practice, industry guidelines and/or Company Procedures/Policies relating to Health and Safety, inclusive of COSHH
