Description:

Responsibilities:

Congress is establishing a therapeutic team to provide comprehensive and holistic care to young people currently in youth detention, aimed at positively impacting the young persons experience in detention, as well as addressing any health issues.
The position is part time (0.5 FTE) and the successful doctor will become part of the GP community within Congress as well as part of the team at the centre. This is an exciting opportunity to have a positive impact on the lives on many young people.
The General Practitioner (GP) provides culturally safe GP services within a comprehensive primary health care framework across all sections of Congress’ Health Services Division. The position works to the principles, values and philosophy of Congress as an Aboriginal community controlled health service.
If you meet the criteria listed in the job description and you are interested to use your skills to help improve the health and wellbeing of young people then we want to hear from you!
