ABOUT THE ROLES

We are currently looking for General Practitioners (GPs) to join our teams.
The General Practitioner provides culturally safe services within a comprehensive primary health care (CPHC) framework across all sections of Congress’ Health Services Division.
As the largest Aboriginal community-controlled health organisation in the Northern Territory, Congress employs a large team of GPs across our 13 clinics in the Central Australian region.
The GP position(s) work within a multidisciplinary team practising interesting and complex medicine. General Practitioners provide high quality clinical and culturally safe care and work to optimise the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal people. The GPs are also involved in providing chronic disease care, health checks, preventative health care, health promotion, and routine general practice consultations.
