Description:
Are you a strategic leader in sales who enjoys challenges? This brand new position at Liebherr-Canada Ltd. could be the position for you! The General Sales Manager of the Liebherr-Canada Ltd. Mining Division is responsible for: managing the profitable execution of all Divisional sales and marketing activities, developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans, establishing and sustaining key stakeholder relationships and comes with the responsibility of identifying and capturing new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Divisional Director to establish, plan, deploy and execute the Division’s strategy and achieve strategic and operational objectives.
- Provide effective, cross functional, leadership and direction enabling the Sales and Marketing Team to achieve their strategic and operational objectives.
- Establish and execute effective Sales and Marketing strategic and operational plans.
- Maintains positive and harmonious working relationships with Customers and Industry Stakeholders.
- Maintain harmonious relations between management, employees and support functions.
- Maintain profit and loss responsibility for all Sales and Marketing services and support activities.
- Maintain and develop capability that supports effective delivery of Sales and Marketing service to the Division and other LCA Divisions.
- Plan, implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives and processes.
- Support the development and implementation of a robust Quality Management System (QMS).
- Compliance with Quality Assurance (QA) and Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) Policy and Procedures.
- Alerting the organization of potential or known problems that affect the quality of LCA products and services.
- Initiate recommendations for improvement of the organisation’s policies and processes.
- Other duties as required.
