General Svcs Operations Mgr - C12 - SYDNEY
The General Services Operations Manager is a senior-level professional responsible for providing leadership and direction to the operations support team, in coordination with the Corporate Services function. The overall objective is to utilize advanced knowledge to lead planning and implementation of standards and practices, to enhance productivity, and to ensure quality and efficiencies. This role has full leadership and supervisory responsibility.

- Extensive relevant knowledge and skills

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree/ University degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities:
- Assist with budgeting, policy formulation and strategic planning
- Manage multiple service functions such as reception and switchboard operations, as needed
- Strategically allocate staff and ensure appropriate staffing levels
- Reconcile invoices against purchases for related products or services
- Manage complex and variable issues with significant departmental and cross departmental impact; recommend new work procedures
- Partners with the other team(s) in operations function
- Handles occasional complex and variable issues with significant cross departmental and departmental
- Conduct performance evaluations, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations
- Provide coaching and training for new recruits as needed
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
