Description:

Stardock is currently seeking a passionate Generative AI Game Developer to help implement front-end systems to support generative AI implementation into our games. The ideal candidate is excited about generative AI technologies and loves games. Whether you’re just diving into generative AI or already have some experience, this position offers a unique opportunity to grow and impact the future of gaming. This is a salaried, full-time position at our Plymouth, Michigan office.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE DESIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or relevant field required
  • Deep interest in generative AI; expertise not required.
  • Professional or personal projects involved generative AI technologies preferred.
  • Experience in game development environments, particularly with LUA and C++.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Experienced with version control software (e.g. Perforce, SVN, etc.).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain front-end interfaces for generative AI implementations in our games using C++ and LUA.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and designers to integrate AI elements into game systems.
  • Participate in design discussions and provide creative input on the use of generative AI in gaming.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in generative AI technologies and propose ways to integrate them into our projects.
  • Write technical documents describing the implementation of systems.
  • Work closely with production and QA to address bugs.
