Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Intact Financial Corporation (IFC) is the largest provider of property and casualty (P&C) insurance in Canada and a leading provider of specialty insurance in North America. Constantly expanding at a global scale, the company requires sustained innovation, speed, and flexibility from its IT sector.
As GenAI platform Specialist within the GenAI Platform Team, you’ll be a key contributor to the GenAI platform’s strategy at IFC and be responsible for the integration and evolution of the platform as well as the associated automation and service delivery. You will enable and guide our IT teams in leveraging GenAI. You will work in active collaboration with your teammates, management, the Product Owner, the technological experts, and our partners across IT.
The GenAI platform team is expanding and seeking experts to accelerate and drive transversal enablement of these capabilities through solutions, practices, and expertise.

WHAT YOU’LL DO HERE:

  • Work in the Generative AI Platform team in implementing and maintaining to deliver a comprehensive generative AI solution for IT and business units.
  • Work collaboratively with AI teams, Developers and business units for platform on-boarding and enablement.
  • Apply DevOps best practices to continuously improve the platform’s performance, stability, and security.
  • Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code based on defined specifications that you will help contribute to.
  • Perform code reviews and provide peer coaching/guidance to other team members
  • Automate platform deployment and management.
  • Ensure strong adoption and integration of security best practices.
  • Apply Data Governance best practices.
  • Develop production-grade generative AI plug-ins, extensions and microservices.
  • Develop platform requirements working with various IT stakeholders.
  • Help in defining key platform performance metrics and ensure proactive response.
  • Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into robust data solutions.
  • Prepare environment dashboards and report on environment health, usage, and availability.
  • Support the GenAI platform and its underlying solutions.
  • Ensure a leading awareness of the market trends and opportunities on the subject matter.
  • Produce and review Architecture documentation.
  • Define best practices framework and guidelines.
