The Consortium for Clinical Research and Innovation, Singapore (CRIS) brings together six national R&D, clinical translation and service programmes to advance clinical research and innovation for Singapore, and establish important capabilities for a future-ready healthcare system.

Precision Health Research, Singapore (PRECISE) is the central entity set up to coordinate a whole of government effort to implement Phase II of Singapore’s National Precision Medicine (NPM) strategy. As part of this strategy, PRECISE and Singapore’s leading research institutes have jointly developed the extensive PRECISE-SG100K resource, comprising rich biobank phenotypic and whole genome sequencing datasets. The PRECISE-SG100K Data Science Team is now working towards data curation, data analysis and data generation of the PRECISE-SG100K resource.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidate must possess at least a PhD in Biomedical Sciences / Genomics / Bioinformatics / Data Science.
- Minimum two years experience in Data Science, Data Analysis or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in coordination / training / research programme management is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in R, Python, NextFlow, Bash, Jupyter Notebooks is preferred.
- Prior experience in stakeholder management and be a dynamic person to be able to communicate well with different personalities.
- Fast learner, meticulous, resourceful and creative team player who works well independently and with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to use sound judgement and demonstrate initiative in carrying out assigned duties.

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Genomics Platform Training Manager in the Chief Scientific Officer’s Office (CSOO), you will work as part of the Data Science Team to train users of the PRECISE-SG100K resource and to support the Data Science Team in creation of their knowledge repository.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide guidance and training to users within the PRECISE ecosystem and Industry partners on utilizing the PRECISE-SG100K resource.
- Develop training materials and organise and contribute to training sessions conducted by the Data Science Team.
- Support the Data Science Team in creating their knowledge repository through maintaining codes and scripts within their Github repository and preparation of documentation such as user manuals, development guidelines etc.
- Be up to date with the various activities of the Data Science Team.
- Be the initial point of contact for inquiries regarding the PRECISE-SG100K resource or analysis pipelines, providing an initial set of responses where possible to enable the program’s progress.
- Provide support to the Data Science Team and liaise with CSOO Project Management Team in the preparation of reports, presentation material and updates to various stakeholders.
