Description:

The STARLAB at Central Michigan University is seeking a post-doctoral researcher to work on a new project about Li geochemistry. This research is a collaboration with an industrial partner. The selected candidate will analyze a unique selection of natural samples using our molecular geochemistry approach to develop a new model for Li exploration.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ph.D. in geochemistry or related field with a focus on trace elements cycling in natural systems.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the positin, with our without reasonable accommodations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with ICP-MS and reactive transport modeling.
  • Prior research experience in Li geochemistry.
