ARE YOU A STUDENT CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN A GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM OR RELATED CO-OP OR EQUIVALENT POST-SECONDARY WORK EXPERIENCE DEGREE PROGRAM?
Edmonton Fire Rescue Services (EFRS) is looking for a Geographic Information System (GIS) Student to provide geographical information system services to aid with Emergency Services’ response and contribute to public safety. Reporting to the Senior Geomatic Services Coordinator, you’ll provide detailed mapping and spatial data for public use and civic administration.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Geographic Information Systems(GIS); gathering and maintaining data, ensuring accuracy
- Work with Fire Rescue Services, City of Edmonton departments, and other external contacts
- Create and maintain cartographic maps for public and departmental use
- Help maintain 9-1-1 CAD data and other emergency response mapping products
- Assist Senior Geomatic Services Coordinator
- Support creating map loads and other related tasks as needed
