Geologist

REQUIREMENTS

• Undergraduate degree in Geology or Earth Sciences
• Previous experience in a mineral exploration camp is an asset
• Previous experience with intrusion related gold systems is an asset
• Experience with GeoSpark is an asset
• Physically fit to perform duties and ability to lift core boxes (approx. 50 lbs)
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  Anticipated Start Date: June 1, 2024
  Anticipated End Date: September 15, 2024
  Compensation: commensurate with experience

Job duties of the Field Geologist will include but are not limited to the following:

• Logging drill core,
• Overseeing geotechnical logging, sampling and processing of diamond drill core
• Spotting drill holes and aligning the drill rig on site
• Photography of drill core and data entry
• Organize samples for shipment to the analytical lab
• Track and catalogue drill core and samples
• Work closely with the rest of the geological team members and support staff
• Report directly to the Senior Geologist
