ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking to add a talented and enthusiastic Geomatics Technologist specializing in spatial data processing to our team.   • Processing spatial data deliverables using a variety of software, including but not limited to Rock Robotic LiDAR programs, HydroMagic SONAR processors, terrestrial scanner softwares, Trimble Business Centre, and Civil 3D.
  • Supporting and growing the Geomatics team through the learning and implementation of new technologies.
  • Review, manage, and process LiDAR, SONAR, and terrestrial data returns.
  • Interpreting field data and notes and providing project documentation.
  • Working collaboratively with project teams to ensure timely, high-quality work.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required.

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with up to 3 years of experience with a diploma or degree in Geomatics, Survey Technology, or a related field. The core skills that will help you succeed here include:

  • You have proven experience using a variety of software, with experience using Rock Robotic, Trimble Business Centre, and Civil 3D being considered an asset.
  • You are interested in LiDAR, SONAR, and terrestrial data processing.
  • You are a team player, embrace the notion of integration, and thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • You are an effective communicator, both verbal and written, allowing you to successfully interact with team members and clients.
