Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY:
The City of Red Deer is currently recruiting a Geospatial Specialist to fill a permanent full-time position. The Geospatial Specialist is responsible for project leadership for geospatial solutions throughout the organization as well as providing corporate and departmental support for GIS, GPS, CAD and other related software and hardware. This position will establish workflows and processes to ensure the integrity of the corporate geospatial data as well as GIS support for the City’s Emergency Operations Centre.
This position plays a key role in supporting the core IT functions of GIS Solutions, GIS Support, GIS development, Data Quality and Innovation.
