Stantec’s geotechnical team offers a complete service, you’ll find us in the office, on site and in the laboratory. We work indoors and outdoors, above and below ground, above and below water, on projects of all sizes. From field exploration and laboratory testing to design and construction management of complex geotechnical structures, our team delivers robust project solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in small to large-scale geotechnical studies.
  • Set up boreholes.
  • Supervise field work, including drilling and various in situ tests.
  • Take soil samples and describe soil components in accordance with applicable standards.
  • Perform various types of in-situ tests, such as shear strength test, Lugeon test, electronic piezocone, etc.
  • Maintain site logs.
  • Assemble and check equipment, ensuring calibration.
  • Contribute to technical reports, proposing clear, precise, and refined solutions
