Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Project Geologist, the Geotechnician provides support to the summer exploration projects located in the
Athabasca Basin and for which work will be based out of remote camps. The Geotechnician will support and perform
various surveys, field tests, and collect field data, participating in various geological, environmental, and possibly drilling
programs within this temporary fixed term assignment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with and at the direction of the Project Geologist to conduct surveys on work sites and other areas of

interest, actively participating in uranium exploration field programs.

  • Carry out geological core logging, sampling, and downhole borehole logging activities.
  • Operate and maintain geophysical and geotechnical instruments and equipment to carry out assigned tasks.
  • Conduct geotechnical core logging and investigation, collect specimens of various elements like rock, soil, water,

and minerals.

  • Perform all duties and activities in accordance with Standard Operating and Work Procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The role is being offered as a temporary position starting on or about June 1st, 2024, for a term of up to 4 months.
The position is based at one of Denison’s exploration sites, working on a 2-week on / 2-week off rotation. The successful
candidate will be responsible for arranging their own travel to a designated pick-up point en-route from Denison’s Saskatoon
office to the Project site. Denison will provide board and lodging while at the Project site and all required PPE outside of
safety boots.
